Quality Assurance

At Global College, quality assurance is embedded in every aspect of our academic and operational life. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of teaching, learning, research, and student support, in full alignment with the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) and the requirements of the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA/DIPAE).

Our Quality Assurance Framework ensures that all programs meet the expectations of both students and employers while remaining current, innovative, and relevant to the needs of the labor market. Through systematic evaluation, transparent governance, and evidence-based decision-making, we promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Quality is a shared responsibility across the institution:

• The Institution Council provides strategic direction and ensures compliance with national standards.
• The Academic Committee oversees academic integrity, curriculum development, and programme monitoring.
• The Internal Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC) coordinates all quality processes, reviews data and feedback, and drives enhancement initiatives.
• Heads of Sectors, Programme Coordinators, and Faculty ensure that courses are delivered to high academic standards and that assessment is fair, consistent, and transparent.

Standards and Continuous Enhancement

All programmes are accredited by CYQAA/DIPAE and aligned with the European and Cyprus Qualifications Frameworks (EQF/CyQF).

Each programme undergoes regular monitoring and periodic review to ensure academic quality, effective assessment, and relevance to the evolving needs of students and the labor market. Student and employer feedback are integral to these processes.

Student Experience and Support

Global College fosters an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students are partners in quality assurance.

Through surveys, evaluations, and active participation in committees, students play a key role in shaping academic improvements and strengthening the overall learning experience. Dedicated academic and administrative staff provide continuous guidance, ensuring that each student is supported throughout their studies.

Faculty Development and Academic Integrity

Faculty members are selected based on their academic and professional expertise and engage in ongoing professional development. The College promotes excellence in teaching and research, and upholds strict standards of academic integrity, including clear policies on plagiarism and the responsible use of AI tools.

We continuously review our policies, curricula, and support services to ensure alignment with international best practices and the expectations of our stakeholders.
