Moodle

Global College uses Moodle as it is a widely adopted open-source learning management system used by educational institutions to deliver, manage, and support teaching and learning in a digital environment. Institutions commonly use Moodle to host course materials, organize lessons into structured modules, facilitate communication through forums and messaging, and assess learners using quizzes, assignments, and grading tools. Its flexibility allows universities, colleges, and training organizations to support fully online courses, blended learning, and face-to-face teaching with digital enhancement. Because Moodle is modular and highly customizable, institutions often integrate it with student information systems, authentication services, and third-party tools, while also tailoring themes, permissions, and workflows to align with institutional policies and pedagogical models.
