At Global College, we are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student — regardless of physical, sensory, or learning differences — can reach their full academic potential.
We believe that accessibility and equal opportunity are fundamental rights, and we continuously work to ensure that our campus, teaching, and services are designed to meet diverse student needs.

Accessibility and Support Services

Global College provides a range of facilities and support mechanisms for students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties, including:

• Accessible facilities and classrooms with ramps, elevators, and adapted furniture
• Priority seating and physical access arrangements during lectures and examinations
• Alternative assessment methods, such as extended time, oral exams, or adapted assignments, when necessary
• Academic support, including note-taking assistance, digital materials, and flexible learning arrangements
• Confidential counselling and guidance through the Student Affairs Office

All services are coordinated confidentially to protect student privacy and dignity, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Equal Treatment in Employment and Education Law (Ν. 127(I)/2000).

How to Request Support

Students who require specific accommodations or adjustments are encouraged to:

1. Notify the Student Affairs Office as early as possible (preferably before the semester begins).
2. Submit recent medical or educational documentation describing their condition and recommended support.
3. Meet with the Head of Student Affairs to discuss suitable accommodations.
4. Agree on an Individual Support Plan (ISP) outlining the measures to be implemented throughout their studies.

Support arrangements are reviewed each semester to ensure they remain effective and appropriate.

Campus Accessibility

The Global College campus provides:

• Wheelchair-accessible entrances and elevators
• Reserved parking spaces for persons with disabilities
• Adapted restrooms on all main floors
• Emergency assistance protocols for mobility-impaired students

Global College regularly reviews its policies and infrastructure to enhance accessibility and inclusion, in alignment with:

• The Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA / DIPAE) standards
• The European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) for inclusive higher education
• The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
