Academic Misconduct
Academic misconduct includes (but is not limited to):
- Plagiarism or the use of others’ work without proper citation
- Fabrication or falsification of information or data
- Cheating in examinations or assignments
- Collusion or unauthorised collaboration
- Contract cheating or using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate or edit assignments without permission
Global College uses advanced plagiarism and AI detection tools integrated into the Moodle platform to ensure fair evaluation and protect academic integrity.
Promoting Ethical Academic Practice
The College actively promotes academic ethics through:
- Awareness campaigns and workshops on referencing and research methods
- Faculty guidance on proper citation, originality, and use of AI responsibly
- Clear policies and procedures for reporting and addressing academic misconduct
